CDP Solutions consults all around the United States with vertically integrated metal mills, service centers and distributors. We have been retained to identify a top Sales or General / Branch Management professional to lead a Metal Service Center in the Midwest market to help our client grow their market share.
Our client is located in the Midwest market and the ownership is looking for a talented leader with a strong background in sales to be their next General Manager. We are looking to network with individuals who currently work the metal service center space and have prior experience leading teams and expanding market share. This organization also provides value added service to their product offerings.
The General Manager will have responsibility for the site P&L, Sales, Warehousing & Distribution, Continuous Improvement, Inventory Control, Planning, Scheduling, Employee Development, Metrics Management, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Compliance, HR and Safety.
Candidate Qualifications
- Metal service center experience
- Prior experience in a commercial / sales position with track record of growing a market
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time with Outside Sales Representatives
- Passion and sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Able to work within the United States
Compensation
Base Salary : $200,000
Bonus : $100,000 - $150,000 or higher
