What are the responsibilities and job description for the CEI Senior Project Engineer (District 2) position at CDR Companies?
CDR Maguire (CDR|M) is a full-service transportation, planning, design, construction management/construction inspection, and project & program management engineering firm. CDR Maguire is seeking a CEI Senior Project Engineer to provide supervision and engineering/construction management support for projects in District 2 (Jacksonville area).
Essential Functions:
- Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
- Plans and organizes the work of subordinate and staff members.
- Develops and/or reviews policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
- Reviews programs for conformance with Department standards
- Civil Engineering degree
- P.E. license in the state of Florida (or if registered in another state, ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within initial six months of employment).
- Prior relevant work experience in the Tampa or Orlando area (required).
- Five (5) years of Senior Project Engineer experience (required) with an overall ten (10) years of related engineering experience (preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) of the years of related experience must be in major road or bridge construction and five (5) years in major bridge construction.
- For non-degreed personnel the aforementioned registration and ten (10) years of engineering experience (two (2) years of which are in major road or bridge construction).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
- Must have the following:
- Qualifications: Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
- Certifications: FDOT Advanced MOT
