Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for projects around Montgomery County, PA area, PennDOT District 6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, and others on plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and construction methods.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain schedules.
- Check shop drawings and quotations for variations.
- Maintain records of quantities and cost of materials used.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure compliance with contract documents by the contractor.
- Verify contractor's health and safety plan.
- Check delivered materials against contract documents.
- Verify contractor's layout and accuracy.
- Submit daily reports of work performed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or post-secondary education.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills.
Certifications Preferred:
- BS Civil Engineering
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction
- NECEPT Bituminous field certification
- ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification
- PennDOT/PTC CDS certification
- ECMS experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification
