Location: Paincourtville, LA
Hours: Mon - Thurs 6:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $25 to $30 DOE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems, pipe supports, and related equipment. This role requires expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure precise and high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems, pipe supports, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Cut, thread, bend, and install pipes using hand and power tools.
- Conduct inspections and testing using hydrostatic testing, pressure gauges, and visual observation to ensure system integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing pipefitting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Certification in pipefitting is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Work Environment:
- May require working in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Overtime or weekend shifts may be required depending on project demands.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Pipefitting: 2 years (Required)
- Blueprint reading: 2 years (Required)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
