Data Modeler

Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models
- Troubleshoot and optimize data systems and SQL scripts
- Maintain data models and define data modeling and design standards for the CXO Insights & Reporting team
- Develop best practices around data coding and standard naming conventions, making sure data models are consistent
- Evaluate databases and data models for inconsistencies and variances, ensuring data is represented correctly
Requirement:
- 5 years in a SQL-based Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering role
- BS/BA in a technical related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience required
- Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Familiarity with data cataloging and quality tools (dbt, Great Expectations, Amundsen)
- Familiarity with star schema/snowflake/OBT data modeling practices
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience working directly with Customer Experience teams
- Experience optimizing SQL queries
- Familiarity with scalable/modular solutions that can be leveraged by the full team (dbt experience highly preferred)
- Python or software development experience a plus
