About the Job

CDS Logistics and Home Services is hiring for a full time Electrician to join our Electrical Business, which focuses on installation and preventative maintenance of in home automated standby generators throughout the state of Maryland. CDS will provide this employee with a company vehicle, company cell phone, gas card and hands on training. In addition to installing generators, you can anticipate performing residential electric work and serving our customers as an expert in your field.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of automated standby generators.
• Preform preventative maintenance for automated standby generators
• Complete Residential Electrical work
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures
• Coordinate with office administrators to confirm daily schedule, communicate daily progress and challenges and complete paperwork daily.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Electrical Journeyman's License for the state of MD
• Must have a strong understanding of electrical concepts
• Must have a valid Driver’s License (company vehicle will be provided)

Location:

This is a Field Position and new employees can expect to work at residential locations throughout the state of Maryland (some work located in Virginia and West Virginia, Pennsylvania).

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Training:

CDS will provide all of the necessary factory training for this new hire to be comfortable working on the Automated Standby Generator Units. CDS will also provide a senior electrician for the new hire to work with when first hired. All Electricians work directly underneath the Master Electrician.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
