What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at CDS Life Transitions?
Summary :
The Data Analyst will assist with the implementation of the CDS Life Transitions data strategy. This includes writing and executing SQL queries, organizing and analyzing data including creating visualizations and tabular reports. Other responsibilities include monitoring data systems, providing feedback and quality improvement and escalation awareness for data anomalies.
Essential Job Functions :
- Assist Manager of Data Analyst with key initiatives related to data strategy.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL.
- Use Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel and native software application tools) to extract, assimilate and present data from multiple sources for the purposes of report creation.
- Execute ad-hoc analytics and reporting requests while operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain daily and weekly data processes including some related to data movement (EDI Files, SSIS Feeds).
- Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain databases and data systems.
- Follow CDSLT and regulatory data governance policies and practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for informing stakeholders of changes and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, State and Federal regulations and agency policies.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Perform all other duties relevant to the position as requested.
