Position Information: Our client is seeking a talented Cloud Architect.

Responsibilities:

• Help the organization build and mature their DevOps and Cloud programs.
• Contribute to process development, knowledge transfer, and training the existing staff on best practices.
• Provide expertise in IaC to help automate and orchestrate the provisioning of services leveraging Terraform, Azure DevOps, PowerShell and other similar technologies.
• Strong understanding how to build, configure and operationalize workloads in Azure Cloud (IaaS and PaaS).
• Interfaces with internal solution designers and translate into automation code that will be integrated into the DevOps pipeline.

Requirements:

• Cloud: Strong Azure Cloud Architect skills - defining and designing Infrastructure services, landing zones, new Cloud Native solutions and migrating Applications for enterprises.
• IaC: Terraform expert (3 years is a minimum), ARM templates. Must be able to become the main code contributor for a highly modularized and custom Terraform code.
• Scripting: Powershell
• Governance and Security: defining Cloud Standards, setting up guardrails for Azure platform with Azure Policies and 3rd party tools.
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps expert (Architect) level - experience with multi-repository and secure setup, writing YAML pipeline templates, reviewing PR.
• Documentation: Writing Solution design and similar documents, drawings, diagrams, etc.(LuciChart, Visio, ServiceNow KB)
• Technical leadership and team mentorship.
• Experience with Azure migration for the large organization.
• Project management (Agile/SCRUM).
• Presentation skills to run Demo for the Team and internal clients.
• Great teamwork and collaboration.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• AWS knowledge is a plus, but should be a primary Cloud CSP for the candidate.
