Position Information: Our client is seeking a talented Sr. Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) across the environment, ensuring system reliability and security.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for routine administrative tasks, including server provisioning, configuration, and patching using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AWS GovCloud environments, ensuring systems are properly configured, highly available, and secure.
• Ensure systems meet compliance standards for CISP and CySA requirements, working closely with security teams to enforce best practices.
• Respond to and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and identifying areas for improvement in system reliability.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, identify potential issues, and optimize the environment for efficiency.
• Manage system backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• CISP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification required.
• CySA (Certified Cybersecurity Analyst) certification required.
• Advanced AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) required.
