The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system-level development, including designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting applications that interact closely with the Windows operating system. You will work on building and maintaining high-performance Windows applications, leveraging deep knowledge of the Windows API, memory management, and system-level architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize Windows-based applications using the Windows API and system-level programming techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows development and performance issues, including memory management and process/thread handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that integrate tightly with the Windows OS and its internals.
- Utilize Windows debugging tools (e.g., WinDbg, Visual Studio Debugger) to identify and address low-level system issues.
- Work with Windows file systems (NTFS), security models, and inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms.
- Contribute to performance profiling and root cause analysis for high-performance application development.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C/C programming for Windows development.
- Deep understanding of Windows development, including Windows API, system calls, and memory management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows debugging tools (WinDbg, Visual Studio Debugger, etc.).
- Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and IPC on the Windows platform.
- Experience in developing system-level applications, including file system interactions and device driver integration.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with assembly language (x86/x64).
- Experience with Windows driver development.
- Strong knowledge of Windows security models and access control mechanisms.
