Student Intern, Environmental (Summer 2025)

The Environmental Student Intern will utilize their current knowledge and skills to assist with project execution under the supervision of experienced environmental staff members. The Environmental Student Intern can expect to participate in a variety of environmental projects that are associated with coastal restoration, power generation construction activities, pipeline construction, and oil and gas exploration. Projects and tasks will involve the use of Microsoft Office applications and ArcGIS. The Environmental Student Intern will be a champion and leader of our company's core values while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction.

Some responsibilities include:

•    Assisting with fieldwork, including wetland delineations, habitat assessments, and rare plant and wildlife species
•    Researching and interpreting environmental laws and regulations 
•    Utilizing various mapping software to illustrate project related data
•    Providing support to environmental staff members as needed
•    Completing presentation to management of internship experience
 

•    Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering or related field at an accredited college or university
•    Must have completed at least 60 hours of college coursework
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Able to excel in individual and team environments
•    Authorized to work in the United States
