Job Description
Payment: $700 for a two-day contract.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lessons that not only engage and interest the participants but help inspire and motivate them.
- Help all youth have a positive and uplifting experience, and as needed, handle youth disciplinary situations with sensitivity.
- Understand, follow, and (where applicable) enforce EFY policies addressing general conduct, youth protection, sexual misconduct, and standards of communication.
- Read and study the EFY Staff Handbook prior to the first contracted week.
Qualifications:
- Educational and professional background and experience with sound preparation in one of the following topics: Habits for Life or Mission Prep.
- Teaching ability, communication skills, appropriate appearance, sincerity, attitude of sharing and personal testimony.
- Willingness to adhere to EFY policy that prohibits the promotion of any personal goods or services or any organization or its products.
- Willingness to adhere to the EFY travel policy.
- Accept as a condition of employment compliance with Brigham Young University Honor Code and to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- Setting a strong example for participants.
- Have previous EFY/FSY employment experience OR equivalent leadership experience supervising peers and/or youth.
- Pass required background check for this position.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America for CE Events, LLC. *Please note that the employer will not provide visa sponsorship for this position in the United States of America.
- Be willing to travel to various EFY locations as needed. Travel to sessions is assigned, arranged, and paid for by EFY and will originate from and return to Brigham Young University (please see the EFY Travel policy on the EFY employment website).
