What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Transition Coordinator position at CEA-NJ?
This position is responsible for supporting and supervising workers with disabilities in successfully performing job duties onsite and facilitating successful service outcomes, including in-house work, career exploration and training activities, community work experiences, and community employment. In this role, the Employment Transition Coordinator also supports, guides and mentors other staff in achieving established outcomes.
Required Education, Experience and/or Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience working in the human services field; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet company driver selection criteria.
- Strong organizational, customer service, communication, networking and problem-solving skills required.
- Self-directed with an ability to develop goals and initiatives and deliver on those initiatives.
