Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting teams in the construction of projects and ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety, and customer objectives are met. This is a safety sensitive position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support to project managers for Electrical budgets, change orders, expediting logs, RFI logs, etc.
- Performs cost control and financial management by working with preconstruction on project estimate and schedule.
- Coordinates scope of work.
- Prepares and reviews submittals.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of Electrical projects, including preparing project schedules, managing timelines, plan revisions, and ensuring resources are available.
- Reviews and compiles pay applications, change requests, and other project financial documentation.
- Review and verify the weekly payment submissions for subcontractors.
- Assists in contract administration and management.
- Assists in coordinating work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors.
- Participates in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns.
- Prepares correspondence as needed.
- Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
- Perform regular site inspections and generate comprehensive reports on project progress, issues, and safety compliance.
- Secure material orders, assist superintendents with material orders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.

- Be able to perform accurate and organized take off from contract documents
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient analytical, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of mechanical parts and their intended use.
- Working knowledge of general construction.
- Demonstrated safety leader and true believer in safety.
- Current and valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest), as needed.
- Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
- Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image
