Summary:
CEC Controls is looking for an Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Systems and Localization Specialist to join our team in Warren, MI!
Responsibilities:
- Support for CIM projects from project, design, implementation, production launch to project closure.
- Design, installation, and configuration of new and existing equipment automation, together with equipment/process personnel.
- Provide hardware and software enhancement ideas or request to improve productivity or quality.
- Provide daily CIM operation support to end users to ensure system availability.
- Work together with other CIM and IT personnel on system launches and upgrades.
- Involved in new and existing production line expansion installation and support.
- Running and managing the CIM lab equipment and server setup.
- Developing software utilities for managing CIM lab and devices.
- Performing training and support, including nightshift hours for customer in other time zones.
- Remote debugging of Linux-based devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Information Systems and Technology, Compuuter Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- One (1) year minimum experience in PLC Controls: Rockwell or Siemens
- Three (3) years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in each of the following:
1. Linux Operating System
2. JavaScript
3. HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON
Location: 14555 Barber Ave, Warren, MI 48088. International Travel required up to 5%. Domestic Travel required 15%.
