Position Summary
A Technology Project Manager works under minimal supervision and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to completion. Responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. Manages monthly financial projections, creation of job specific schedule of values which maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/distributors for the successful execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Scrub prints and specifications to ensuring technical feasibility and ultimately a total working system
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Experience in Construction and all major technologies in technology infrastructure
- Proven working experience as a project manager in the construction technology sector
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong working knowledge in installation processes per EIA/TIA
- Strong working experience in low voltage testing equipment and procedures
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of scheduling, BIM, RFI process, Submittal process, technology plans, and technology specifications
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related discipline preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in the construction technology industry in a Project Management role
- Can be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience

- Must have a current Drivers License and reliable transportation.
- Must meet attendance standards and comply with late/absence notification procedures.
- Must be able to pass drug and background check.
- Understands and follows standard operating policies and procedure

- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Accubid and Oracle preferred

- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
- Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

- Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
- Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
