Job Description
The Adjunct Faculty position is a contract-based role that involves teaching specific courses on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conveying course material, ensuring course materials are available online, and meeting program-specific requirements for employment and supervision of students in externship or capstone courses.
The instructor will also be expected to facilitate quality learning experiences, use the Academic Monitoring system, submit grades and end-of-semester documentation in a timely manner, and check their College email account daily.
The Adjunct Faculty member will receive a master adjunct contract and course-specific contracts listing the instructor's name, employee number, address, phone number, and course details.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- SUCCESSFUL COLLEGE-LEVEL TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN THE RELATED FIELD
- Prior teaching experience in a college/university setting
- Current knowledge and skill in the use of information and computer technology (e.g., word processing, e-mail, database) or proven ability to learn these skills
- Able to work with students with special needs based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
