About the Role
The Studio Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the studio classroom, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting the Art and Design program. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio classroom, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and faculty.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as setting up equipment, preparing materials, and supporting faculty members during classes.
- Help promote the Art and Design program by distributing marketing materials, updating bulletin boards, and participating in campus events.
Qualifications
- You must be a current college student or graduate with a background or training in art.
- You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty members.
- You must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
