• The fundamentals of operating a computer
• Hardware (including keyboard and mouse)
• Software (including internet browser navigation, Microsoft Office programs, and email)
• MS Excel : formatting, how to create and maintain tables and charts, and functions, pivot tables and working with multiple worksheets
• MS Word : develop themes, move text, customize headers and footers, apply styles, and change margins.
• MS PowerPoint : techniques for presentations, incorporating and editing video clips, creating custom logos, developing themes, and complex animation.
• Other basic computer functions to improve students' computer literacyAdditional responsibilities include : Supervising and monitoring students' use of equipment. Observing and evaluating students' work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement. Maintain attendance and administrative forms. Administering assessments to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness.Other duties as assigned.Requirements :
• Proficient in using MS Office with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be adept at instructing adult students at various skill levels
• Evening availability required
• Teaching experience highly preferredSchedule : 2 evenings per week; 4-6 hours per week.Physical Demands : Physical Demands : This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
