What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop/ Yard Maintenance Worker position at Cecil Gunite?
Looking for hardworking motivated individual. Must be able to perform basic job duties such as sweeping shop, using equipment and tools safetly to maintain shop & yard, and equipment. Following maintenance on equipment is required:
Cement Silos- maintenance and repair.
Bobcats, loaders and forklift- Maintenance and small repairs.
Trucks- maintenance and small repairs.
Yard- clean and small repairs.
Parts truck- maintenance and small repairs.
Other tasks required:
Pick up parts for mechanics.
order supplies such as lumber and steel materials.
Landscape maintenance.
organization of yard materials.
Loading of trucks.
Miscellaneous shop & yard repairs and fabrications.
Assisting foremans and supervisors
Overtime required. Saturday availability as well.
Random DOT drug testing required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
