Stockroom Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the store’s inventory and ensuring that products are well-organized and readily available for customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise as it arrives in the store.
• Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with products in an orderly manner.
• Conduct regular inventory control checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
• Support sales efforts by providing product information and assisting customers as needed.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately when required.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Experience with cash register operations is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance customer interactions.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.70 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
