Position Summary:

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Supervisor to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the receipt, storage, packaging, and dispatch of wholesale electrical supply products.

This role is in our Springville, UT location and works from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some overtime will occur and may be required.

You will ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, material ships accurately, and service levels demonstrate continued improvement with an emphasis towards growth.

This role is essential to the successful fulfilment of our sales efforts to the customers we serve in the greater Wasatch Front market place each day. This job is mentally challenging and has moderate physical demand of typical warehouse activities.

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable record
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and associated functions
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Leadership skills and ability to delegate and manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organization skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two or more years’ experience leading a team
• Electrical distribution or similar wholesale distribution experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional environment primarily in a warehouse, with frequent outside yard activities, and occasional off-site travel in company vehicles.

Performing the essential duties of this job:

• May require standing, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and walking with repetition
• May also require the ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Requires ability to understand and speak English clearly
• Occasionally requires lifting or moving products and supplies up to 50 pounds unassisted

COMPENSATION:
The compensation range for this position is $23.00 to $26.00 hourly

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: YES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Represent CED in a professional and appropriate manner
• Oversee and contribute to all warehouse functions and dispatch delivery drivers
• Ensure the smooth and accurate flow of material as it arrives at, and is assembled to leave, our facility
• Communicate and help reconcile stock accuracy variances
• Supervise all warehouse activities to ensure they are carried out safely
• Lead employees to succeed in daily tasks and maximizing long-term career goals
• Periodic evaluation of current processes and determine areas for improvement
• Accurately process and secure related documentation
• Champion team objectives and priorities as determined by the Profit Center Manager
