What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wireless Network Commissioning Expert position at CED Systems?
CED Systems is a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure, and we are seeking a skilled 5G Network Integration Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating new and existing technologies into the network, including LTE & 5G Integrations as per site requirements. The role requires experience working at telecommunications sites, with 1-2 years' experience in installation, commissioning, and integration of Ericsson LTE & 5G equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate new and existing technologies into the network.
- Work as part of a team, coordinating tasks with integration engineers, and performing related tasks.
- Have experience working at telecommunications sites (BTS/radio installation, fiber, telco, light electrical, etc.).
- Have good hands-on experience with BB5216, BB6630, BB6648, BB6651 - installation/harvest as per TMO standards.
- Be able to integrate basebands with ECI/SIF scripts, making changes if needed.
- Integrate IXRe and log in to routers as needed.
- Understand port mapping, power connections on Ericsson small cell radios 2203/4402, macro radios 4460/4480/8863.
- Experience working on Ericsson cabinets (indoor/outdoor), 6131/6102/6160/6601.
- Configure External alarms on the SCU.
- Call Testing on Stand Alone bands for N19/N41 as needed.
- Troubleshoot fiber loss alarms, VSWR, no-connection alarms, LOCP alarms.
- Have a working Windows laptop with all software/tools.
