Job Responsibilities
The Recruiter plays a key role in sourcing, attracting, selecting, and hiring top talent. Working closely with management, you will ensure that the best candidates are considered for open positions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including resume screening, phone interviews, and in-person interviews.
- Reviewing employment applications and background check reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Representing Cedar Community at career fairs, on-campus recruiting events, and networking opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in or current pursuit of education in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare recruiting preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR applications.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on data, research, and logical reasoning.
- Ability to manage employee situations with adherence to Cedar Community policies.
- Ability to navigate stressful situations with employees and residents with professionalism and care.
- A genuine desire to serve and a commitment to maintaining a positive image of Cedar Community.
