We are seeking dedicated on-call status team members who can commit to at least four (4) days per month. These team members will be scheduled for regular shifts on their committed days and must be available to work if needed.
Key Details:
- On-call team members will receive a flat rate of $30.00 per committed day, regardless of whether they are called in to work or not.
- The $30.00 per day will be added to all scheduled days by the Nurse Schedulers and will be deducted
- If an on-call team member is called in during their on-call shift, they will be paid their regular wage, including any shift differential, for the hours worked in addition to the $30.00 flat rate.
Responsibilities:
- Become a Cedar Community Champion by providing a pleasant, courteous, caring, helpful, and positive atmosphere for guests, residents, and team members.
- Help residents live their life to the fullest by providing personal hygiene including bathing, oral care, skin and nail care, and hand washing. Provide high quality patient care to all residents.
- Welcome residents by assisting in orienting them to the household environment and routines upon admission and throughout their stay, as needed.
- Serves residents their meals and if needed feed and and assist them with intake of nourishment and fluids, as appropriate. Be their support system and cheerleader when they need it.
- Work as a team player by providing assistance when needed and assigned by the charge nurse.
