Function:
Under direct supervision of the General Manager and/or the appropriate Team Leader, carry out routine campground Office duties in a cordial and professional manner. Provide guests with a distinctly enjoyable and memorably superior experience by ensuring the highest quality of Hospitality, Services and Facilities in a serene, natural environment.

The candidate selected for this position will be entrusted with primary responsibility for overall operation and cleanliness of the campground Office The goal is to provide outstanding customer service.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete tasks as assigned by management in a timely, thorough, and professional manner. These tasks may include but not be limited to:
Taking reservations over the phone and in person, welcoming customers during check in and checking out, complete store sales, monitor storage reservations.
Answering general questions about the local area, the campground, Elephant Butte Lake and State Park as well as area ATV trails.
Greet all guests and other individuals with a warm professional demeanor.
Must be unquestionably friendly, congenial, and courteous to guests and staff.
Answer all incoming phone calls in a warm professional manner and remain as helpful as logically possible.
Register incoming guests, properly enter their information in the Campground Master System, and accurately collect and store funds to ensure accurate accounting on a daily basis.
Maintain a proper level of cleanliness and organization within the office.
Verify and secure all monies daily and complete proper reports.
Cleaning the desk area and office each day, taking inventory of store items, sorting mail.
Being on call after hours with the phone on days that you are scheduled to work if the manager is not available.
Creating documents for events, assisting manager, using basic programs such as excel, word, publisher, g-mail, and campground master.
Other duties as specified by campground management.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to lift, grasp, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds, and have the corrective devices if needed.
Must have good vision, hearing and the ability to communicate verbally in the English language.
Present a positive impression with well-groomed appearance, smiles and proper attire.
Enjoy meeting and working with the public; possess excellent social skills, yet not be averse to hands-on cleaning and maintenance duties.
Must be in good physical condition, able to stand for extended periods of time.
Prior experience in campground procedures desirable.
