We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Bellewood campus, just minutes from downtown Bellevue. Serving students from Preschool through Fourth Grade, this role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for families, building rapport with students, and supporting the smooth operation of the school.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will work alongside another administrative team member to ensure the daily operations run efficiently. Your responsibilities will include greeting families, managing teacher break times, answering and directing phone calls, and handling various office tasks. You’ll also provide general administrative support as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine love for working with children and families are key to success in this role.
Key Requirements / Hours
This is a fully in-person position, with required hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening support for school events may be required, along with assistance during Before & After Care.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in an educational setting
- Education: High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with attention to detail and deadlines
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with school management software or similar platforms such as Brightwheel and Ravenna.
- Customer Service: Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
