Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our three (3) warehouses (freezer, cooler and Dry). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse processes, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and logistics. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations.
- Manage inventory control processes, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Train, mentor, and lead warehouse staff to promote teamwork and enhance productivity.
- Utilize DSD software for inventory management and reporting.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Implement best practices for safety compliance within the warehouse environment.
- Picking product as needed
- Loading trailers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role or similar position.
- Proficient in inventory management systems.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate forklifts; certification required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
