What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Aide position at Cedar Crest, Inc.?
We are looking for an individual to join our Life Enrichment Team. This individual will plan, organize and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation and expression and fulfills the basic psychological, social and spiritual needs of our residents. The hours for this position are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday- Thursday. 11am-7:30pm Fridays. Also 8am-4:30pm every other weekend.
The successful candidate will have the following skill, knowledge and abilities:
- Compassionate with a positive attitude
- Stellar customer service skills
- Available for rotating weekends and holidays
- Available evenings
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Previous experience working with dementia population preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
