HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Actively leading team responsible for overall park cleanliness, trash removal, recycling, and water hose down of park patios and back areas
- Following up with crews to ensure that trash is properly transported to collection areas and separated as necessary to adhere with park recycling rules
- Preparing restrooms for opening of the park assisting the Restroom Attendants
- Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in Guest view, in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Actively ensuring all Team Members are being efficient through continual supervision, follow-up, counseling, and motivation
- Overseeing the general maintenance of all equipment to ensure that all property is properly serviced and maintained
- Administering a break rotation schedule, to ensure all Team Members in your Section receive required breaks and proper break times are followed
- Creating a positive work environment through motivation and interaction with all Team Members
- Removing trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti, both behind the scenes and in Guest’s view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Sweeping Park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and dustpan while continuously walking your assigned section.
- Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary.
- Wiping down all trash receptacles, tabletops and counters in assigned section.
- Giving guest directions if needed and answering any question.
- Removing and replacing new partially filled liners inside trash receptacles.
- Transporting trash from the trashcans to the park central waste areas and separating materials as necessary to adhere with park recycling rules.
- Preparing restrooms for park opening each day.
- Cleaning up bio spills using appropriate materials.
- Enforcing all Six Flags policies.
- Assisting in other areas of the Park Services department.
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible shift including nights, weekends and most holidays
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently
- Can handle multiple tasks at once with efficient use of time
- All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
- Reports to Operations Area Manager
