Cedar Greens, Inc. is seeking a part-time Sales Consultant to join their growing team! The perfect candidate will be a fast learner with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and rock-solid dependability.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for providing quality customer service and cannabis knowledge to all Cedar Greens guests. This position maintains a welcoming and comfortable environment, maintains product and store presentation, and performs all sales floor operations.
As a Sales Consultant, you will:
- Perform Medical Marijuana Consulting, process authorizations and print registration cards
- Check and verify ID Requirements for anyone entering sales floor from outside
- Customer service, with a focus on comfort and education for any guest
- Answer questions regarding product effects, safety, and legal limits
- Educate guests regarding proper use or implementation of any product
- Familiarize with and communicate regarding a large selection of retail products
- Perform cash transactions using digital Point of Sale platform
- Re-stock inventory from Storage to Sales Floor according to levels at POS
- Cleaning duties as assigned by rotating task list
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, and work practices as described in the Occupational Exposure Control Plan
- Must exercise confidentiality and discretion on a daily basis
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What are the Required Qualifications for this position?
- Must be 21 or over
- Two (2) years of experience in retail, restaurants, or hospitality, experience in the cannabis industry preferred
- Cash handling experience in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication
- Reliable source of transportation
- Must be able to successfully pass criminal background investigation
What are the Preferred Qualifications for this position?
- Knowledge and understanding of the cannabis industry, including familiarity of various strains, genetics, THC and CBD content, and fluency in cannabis terminology
- Enthusiasm for learning about health, science, and nature
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suites, retail POS systems, and social media outlets
- Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- American Indian/Alaska Native preferences apply
