Courier

Cedar Grove is looking for an inter-company courier to perform general courier duties including sending and receiving mail between our locations and taking soil samples to various off-site facilities. This position is also responsible for performing general office upkeep duties, such as refilling inventory and stocking supplies, picking up office supplies and delivering to different locations and other related tasks.Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of following safety protocols and is a skilled driver, and has a can do attitude to take on routine and less routine tasks related to this position. This position’s pay rate is between $21-$25/hour depending on skills and experience and generally works an 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday.

Please note that this is considered a safety-sensitive role due to the operation of a company vehicle, which requires increased alertness and focus to prevent accidents and ensure public safety. Pre-employment drug screening includes THC.

Essential Duties Summary:

· Safely operate company vehicle based out of Seattle office

· Deliver mail and products to Cedar Grove locations between Everett and Tacoma

· Fill copy paper and office supply stations

o Break down boxes

· Empty individual shred bins at desk keeping confidentiality a high priority

· Distribute supplies to locations as directed

· Check and maintain product inventory, cream, sugar, soap, janitor closet, etc.

· Other related projects as directed

Skills and Experience:

• Valid driver license
• Acceptable driving record (3 years with no major violations and limited minor violations)
• Experience driving commercially preferred
• Good time management skills a must
• Self direction required

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit in a vehicle and drive for 3-6 hours per day, and frequently lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds.
