What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Shop Assistant position at Cedar Grove Composting?
Cedar Grove Composting is currently seeking a Part Time Shop Assistant to be based out of our Everett location. The Part Time Shop Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the work area is clean and organized by performing basic clean-up of the shop. In addition, they will assist the shop admin, shop foremen, and mechanics by picking up and delivering parts in a company vehicle and performing other tasks as needed. The work schedule will be 4 hours per day Monday through Friday, between the hours of 5:00am – 8:00pm.

- Minor mechanical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Must interact effectively with all departments and divisions as a team
- Easily adaptable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
Education/Certification
- Insurable driving record
- Valid Washington state driver’s license
Experience/Other
- History of good employment attendance
- No experience needed
Physical Demands
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to stand for up to four hours per day, and lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds infrequently.
