Job Summary:
The Clinical Trial Education Community Liaison is focused on building relationships between Cedar Research and the community. The goal is to build external relationships within the community, provide education to the public about clinical trials, address misconceptions, improve community understanding and participation.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Community Engagement: Attending community events, speaking at local organizations, and collaborating with health advocacy groups to inform people about clinical trials.

Education: Explaining the clinical trial process, safety protocols, and benefits of participation, while addressing concerns regarding participation of the risks and benefits.

Outreach to Diverse Populations: Ensuring representation and inclusivity in clinical trials by reaching out to underserved or underrepresented communities to create culturally competent engagement strategies.

Participant Support: Acting as a point of contact for potential participants to help them navigate the recruitment and enrollment process and provide support to ensure they experience the gold standard.

Data Collection and Reporting: Gathering feedback from community interactions, reporting on outreach effectiveness, and adapting strategies as needed.
Qualifications
This role requires excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, bilingualism, and a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and ethics.
Knowledge of CTMS and Study Protocols.
Experience in a supervisory role.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and critical thinking.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
