When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking an experienced Director - Outpatient Clinics (Full Time)
Our ideal candidate will assist the CEO in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing day-to-day functions of programs and activities. The candidate develops and implements policies and procedures in coordination with corporate direction. The incumbent works closely with Practice Administrators/Managers on issues related to financial and operational performance. The Director communicates and implements corporate strategic initiatives within the market. This position is directly responsible for daily operations, inventory, overseeing IT and managed care initiatives. This position has direct reports and reports to the Market Director.

- Bachelor's degree in Health or Business Administration preferred
- 5-8 years of work experience in progressively responsible practice operations will be in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of physician practice business leadership experience or healthcare mangement experience is required
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the financial management, and business and clinical operations of a medical group practice
- Knowledge of fiscal management techniques, revenue cycle management and third party reimbursement
- Knowledge of health care administration systems
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications
