Cedar Hills Has Opportunities For an Inpatient Temporary Therapist - 6 Month Contract $60 an Hour
Current Openings:
- Unit Therapist – This position works on the units for patients who are admitted, again for anything from detox to acute psychiatric issues. A unit therapist will run group therapy, meet individually with patients, assist with discharge planning, join treatment team meetings, etc. This position is comprised of 5 – 8 hour shifts.
- Military Program Therapist – This position works on the Military Unit (AKA STAR Program) with active duty and veterans. This unit is a rehabilitation level of care, while still an inpatient setting. This position is very similar to the Unit Therapist position described above, but again is specific to the Military Program. 5 - 8hr shifts.

Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.
Experience: Prefered: one (1) of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply!
Licensure: Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LMSW, or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime on occasion.
