Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and be proficient in various CAD software with an emphasis on Chief Architect. This role involves creating detailed designs and schematics, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, and collaborating with engineers to develop innovative solutions for our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed CAD floor plans for engineers with 4D walk-through videos for residential and commercial log structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
- Review and incorporate feedback from staff, clients, and engineers to refine designs.
- Maintain compliance with structural codes and standards.
Experience
- Proficiency in CAD software including Chief Architect is essential.
- Experience in residential design is required.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, codes, and standards relevant to the industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
