As part of our team, you'll be a key player in shaping projects for residential and commercial clients. From Day 1 until you’ve mastered the art of log home custom design, your ability to learn and grow in this role will be the key to your success. What You'll Do:

• Work on floor plans, material takeoffs, and cut slips for a wide range of projects, from cozy homes to expansive commercial and industrial buildings.
• Learn to review blueprints and understand the latest industry standards to ensure every project exceeds expectations.
• Collaborate with an ever-expanding network of independent contractors and homeowners to bring their visions to life.
• Stay ahead of the curve by proactively researching new material technologies and design trends in the field.
• Deliver engaging presentations to leadership and clients, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
• Travel for home shows and/or site visits

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Full-time availability on-site in Plattsburgh, NY
• Common sense and a solid work ethic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Excellent math skills—basic math and geometry
• 3 professional references

Preferred:

• Relevant experience in woodworking, construction, sales, carpentry, architecture, estimating, design-build, engineering, or mathematics
• Familiarity with CAD software (Chief Architect or similar) and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• A background in customer service or client-facing roles
