Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our team in a fast-paced private club environment. As a member of our restaurant staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our bar, restaurant, or grill room.

Duties

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests promptly and courteously.
• Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all requests are met.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, applying basic math skills for accurate billing.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a positive work environment.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail is preferred but not required.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Experience with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
• A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
