What you’ll do:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, executive team, and the Cedar Lake Board of Directors. They are responsible for handling the day-to-day communications, scheduling, and administration for the CEO and the cabinet.
- Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the CEO, cabinet, and the board of directors.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for the CEO and the cabinet.
- Schedules board meetings, posts agendas, and attachments in the software system.
- Arranges travel and accommodation for the cabinet.
- Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of the cabinet and the board, taking minutes when necessary.
- May assist the Director of Marketing in attending events.
- Receives incoming communication on behalf of the cabinet, reviews content, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes content to appropriate staff.
- Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping.
- Serve as a back-up receptionist as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What sets you apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role is required.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems is required.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
What your typical schedule looks like:
Full-time, exempt, 40 hours per week. Includes occasional additional hours and weekend hours as necessary.
