Housekeeper
The Housekeeper at Cedar Lakes Estate is a diligent, hardworking and efficient team member. They will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our guest accommodations and event areas. The Housekeeper is a hands-on applicant, who will take ownership of their work, be a true team player, and fulfill guests’ requests in a professional and thorough manner.
Job Duties
- Clean, set, and oversee the condition of all guest accommodations
- Clean and inspect the outdoor and indoor event spaces to ensure everything is working properly and meticulously clean throughout the events
- Restock, clean, and organize supply closets housekeeping areas; request restocking as needed
- Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, etc. Make recommendations and assist in the coordination of rehab projects
- Provide professional and courteous service at all times while adhering to the Cedar Lakes Estate brand
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Complete projects assigned by Hotels Operation Manager and Assistant Manager.
Requirements
Previous Housekeeping experience at a hotel or inn is preferred.
In addition, candidates must be:
- Able to continuously stand or walk
- Able to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs frequently
- Professional, both in appearance and demeanor
- Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Detail oriented
- Consistently punctual
- Team player and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done perfectly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
