What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Learner Teacher position at Cedar Park Central Kumon?
Overview
We are seeking a part-time employee who has a passion for education and loves to work with our youngest age group. Students start Kumon as early as 3 years of age and our early learner teacher works mainly with students who are 3-6 years of age. We need an employee who is kind, enthusiastic, and patient. We need someone who can help ignite the love of learning in our students. We need an employee who can be a consistent and stable part of our young learner's educational journey.
We believe that candidates with an education background would be a benefit, but we are mostly looking for individuals who have a good command of basic english/ reading skills and math computation skills. We can train a new employee on the Kumon method and worksheets.
Please see the hours below as our new hire must be able to commit to those specific day and hours a week.
Hours
- Mondays and Wednesdays 2:30- 7:30 pm
- Thursdays: 4:30 pm- 7:30 pm
- Saturdays: 9:30 am- 2:30 pm
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL OF THE ABOVE HOURS (No Exception)!
Looking For:
- Someone who can give consistent and stable hours
- Someone who has a patient and kind nature
- Experience working in preschool, classroom, childcare, or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with literacy education and math instruction for young learners is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
