As a Kumon Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in guiding students through their worksheets, teaching them how to learn independently, and fostering a positive attitude toward learning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with new students to guide them through the Kumon worksheets and teach them effective learning strategies.
- Ensure that students understand the concepts, building their confidence and independence.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and offer encouragement.
- Collaborate with other staff members and the Kumon Instructor to ensure a seamless learning experience for all students.
Job Requirements:
- A background in education is helpful but not necessary.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for learning are a must.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- A flexible and approachable attitude, focused on helping others succeed.
Set Work Hours:
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Thursdays: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Saturdays: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
