Electrician

We’re looking for electricians with a minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial electrical work, with a focus on high-voltage systems and running lines from breaker panels to dedicated outlets. You must be comfortable working with MC cable, conduit, and pulling wire on ladders and scaffolding in active job site environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run high-voltage lines from panels to outlets and lighting systems

• Install panel boxes, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures

• Replace existing light ballasts with LED bulbs in various buildings

• Pull wire, install conduit and MC cable as needed

• Perform ceiling installations (average height ~8 ft) and unit upgrades

• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and follow project plans

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician

• Solid experience in commercial settings (lighting, conduit, MC cable)

• Must be able to climb ladders and work in overhead spaces

• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures

• Must have all PPE (hard hat, gloves, boots, safety glasses, etc.)

• Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic

Preferred:

• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification

• Local to the Plattsburgh area or able to commute reliably

• All necessary tools of the trade
