What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Installer position at Cedar Park Group?
Cedar Park Group is hiring Journeyman HVAC Sheet Metal Installers for a commercial project!
We are actively looking for two experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Installers with a minimum of 5 years of experience bending and installing ductwork. Candidates must be able to travel to various job sites and come equipped with the proper tools of the trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, cut, and install sheet metal for HVAC duct systems
- Read and follow blueprints and supervisor instructions accurately
- Use trade tools to ensure precise ductwork and secure fittings
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC sheet metal installation experience
- Proficient in bending and installing ductwork
- Must bring own tools and PPE as listed
- Crimpers, Sheet metal cutters, Hammer, Pliers, Screwdriver, Tape measure (must be able to read it accurately!), Cut-resistant gloves
- All required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Ability to travel to job sites
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Safety-minded and detail-oriented
