Position Overview
We are in need of an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This is a PRN position working 1-2 shifts per week or as needed, plus rotating call!
Responsibilities
- Initial assessment of hemodialysis patient pretreatment
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machine
- Restock unit and monthly inventory as directed by immediate supervisor
- Directly supervise the care of patients on hemodialysis and monitor the medical condition of patients
- Evaluate pre and post-dialysis patient complaints and inform the renal physician if necessary
Qualifications
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse License
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
