*Job Overview*
As a Pharmacy Technician at our facility, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in compounding, preparing, and dispensing medications to patients. Your attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy operations will contribute to the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.
*Duties*
- Compound both sterile and non-sterile medications
- Perform quality assurance on compounded medications
-Keep compounding areas sterile, clean, and tidy
- Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
- Manage inventory and restock medications as needed
- Assist in processing prescription orders and maintaining patient records
- Utilize aseptic technique for IV infusion preparation
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
*Qualifications*
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required
- Experience in a compounding pharmacy or IV room setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic technique procedures
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and terminology
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to upholding patient safety and confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.13 - $18.20 per hour
