Job Description
The Area Manager of Ride Maintenance is responsible for developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans, policies, and operations functions that align with the department's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures maintenance policies and procedures are up-to-date and followed by maintaining a professional and trained staff through effective performance and development programs.
- Develops plans and priorities to prepare and manage an operating budget, analyzing costs and schedules to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Evaluates ride reliability and performance to prioritize improvements and increase uptime, contributing to a positive guest experience.
- Works with vendors and manufacturers to improve attraction reliability, evaluating design and cost-saving measures while maintaining system integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or vocational/technical certification preferred.
- Valid US driver's license and 1-3 years of supervisor and/or leadership experience, with demonstrated mechanical/electrical maintenance experience and supervisory/management experience.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, UKG, and JDE. Ability to pass background checks and random drug tests per company policy.
