Train Fireman

• Firing and lubricating the steam locomotive to ensure its proper operation
• Cleaning and polishing the locomotive to maintain its appearance and safety
• Filling and lifting coal tenders to provide fuel for the train
• Chopping wood to meet the train's firewood needs

Qualifications

• Previous locomotive or railroad experience is welcome but not required
• Ability to climb a ladder
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Capacity to work in high-heat environments around fire and smoke
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
