What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Specialist position at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions?
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an individual to add to its Employment Services Team for Muskingum county. This position provides a variety of job coaching services to individuals with disabilities including but not limited to developing appropriate job-keeping behaviors, task analysis, development of skills to complete specific tasks. The purpose of this position is to assist participants, adjust to the demands and responsibilities of their workplace by providing guidance, support, and reinforcement at the onset of their employment experience.
Must be energetic, independent, and have a GREAT ATTITUDE!
Provides close supervision, training, and support to clients on job training sites and in an office setting.
Offering a full-time position, which includes job coaching, report writing, and transporting.
Qualifications
Must be reliable, energetic, professional, flexible, a positive role model, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Satisfactory oral and written communication skills
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Experience working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities or similar experience desired but not a requirement
- Valid Ohio Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be able to complete background check and pass drug screen
- Position is community based and services may be provided in various environments and locations.
